Privacy Notice

Your privacy matters. This notice explains what LifeTree collects, why we use it, how we protect it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide, such as your name, phone number, email address, property address, property condition, transaction preferences, optional ownership or buyer criteria, inquiry details, and communication consent. Campaign tags in page links may be retained temporarily in this browser tab and saved with an inquiry to identify its source. We may also receive basic device, browser, referral, and site-usage information needed to keep the website secure and working properly.

How we use information

We use information to respond to you, review a property or housing inquiry, communicate about requested services, maintain accurate records, prevent fraud and misuse, improve our website and operations, and meet legal or regulatory obligations. We do not use your information for purposes that are materially different from those described here without providing appropriate notice.

How information is shared

LifeTree does not sell personal information for money. We may share only what is reasonably necessary with service providers that support website hosting, communications, property research, transaction coordination, professional advice, or legal compliance. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

Data security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No online system can guarantee absolute security. We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the inquiry, transaction, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, security, and legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it when appropriate.

Address suggestions and videos

When address suggestions are available, text entered in the address field is sent through LifeTree’s server to Esri, Geoapify, or the Photon/OpenStreetMap lookup service to find matching addresses. Lookup coverage and availability vary; unmatched addresses remain editable. A property map connects your browser to Google Maps or OpenStreetMap and shares the entered address or selected coordinates to display the location. Address handoff between our forms uses temporary storage in your browser tab and expires after ten minutes. Seller videos attempt automatic playback when they come into view, which connects your browser to YouTube even before you press Play. Other videos connect when played; you may also open the video directly on YouTube.

Cookies and website technology

The website may use essential cookies or similar technology to operate forms, remember basic preferences, measure site performance, and protect against abuse. Where required, you can manage nonessential technologies through the choices presented on the site or through your browser settings.

Your privacy choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask what personal information we hold, request access or correction, request deletion, or limit certain uses. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and some records may be retained when required by law. To stop marketing texts, reply STOP; for other privacy requests, use the Contact page or call 1-833-LIFETREE.

Children's privacy

LifeTree's services are intended for adults involved in property, housing, or investment inquiries. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.

Updates and contact

We may update this notice as our services, practices, or legal obligations change. The current version will remain posted on this page. Questions or privacy requests can be submitted through the Contact page or by calling 1-833-LIFETREE.
